Heather Ahuja is managing director of real estate for Greystar in the New York City market, and has been active in the multifamily industry since 1997. Prior to joining Greystar in 2017, Heather spent 10 years operating communities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and San Francisco for AvalonBay. Prior to that, she oversaw a portfolio of communities in the Midwest for Village Green Companies. Heather has operational expertise in capital investment, value-add strategies, and value execution, and has led operational teams on multiple new developments through stabilization. Heather has experience with public and private investors for both individual owners and third-party managers. She attended Arizona State University and holds CAM, PAM, and NALP property management designations.
